The Foundation of Truth Ministry has been nothing but a true blessing from God for me and my family. It all started in Mississippi, with a simple invite to a Bible study from First Lady, Jane’t Victorian, which at that time was taking place in a beauty salon. When I heard Pastor John Victorian speak that evening; and having grown up in the church as a little girl, I knew that what he was speaking, it was the truth, but it was something different. Pastor’s deliverance of the Bible study that night was sound and practical of how to walk in the faith. From that night it sparked a hunger in my heart to understand more of God’s word, of just how I should walk according to the Bible. The church was very patient and loving with me during that time.
Having grown up in the COGIC denomination, I now understand that I grew up with “man’s word” mixed with God’s word. Pastor Victorian challenged my understanding in love, by rightly dividing Matthews 28:19 and Acts 2:38; and with understanding the covenants and the commandments of Jesus as he speaks to the believer, I then moved quickly and was baptized again, now in Jesus’s name!
I soon became a faithful member of the church and our journey in Mississippi afforded us to teach, preach, and minister in two nursing homes, several churches, and we labored before those that were broken hearted. With the grace of God, we baptized many souls that desired to walk in God’s righteousness! Once the seasoned ended for Pastor Victorian and his family in Mississippi, the Lord moved the ministry back to St. Louis, Missouri and I thought that was the end of my work that God had for me with Foundation of Truth ministry. I then made plans to move to another state, but the Holy Ghost would not allow it. The Lord revealed to me that my family must move to St. Louis and continue to work in the ministry. I have been with Foundation of Truth Ministry for over ten years now, and I thank God for it. I saw and witnessed the power of God as it transformed my life and my children. I now understand true fellowship in the church, what it means to rightly divide God’s word and live according to God’s commandments, and equally important, what love really looks like in the church.
